About Me

I'm the type of person to that loves to learn from others and also listen to what they have got to say. Extroverted and a very family oriented type of guy. I've always loved traveling and meeting people across the globe.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've been hosting a lot of people here in KL for many years now and a great friend introduced me to this website that caters to that. My culture has always been the hospitable and my family raised me in that manner when it comes to guests locally and internationally.

Interests

I absolutely adore music. It can range from genre to genres. I'm obsessed with old music such as the Beatles. I have to many too list, but I love playing all of their songs in the guitar.

I'm a frequent runner and attend half-marathon events for the past 2-3 years. Running is my favorite pastime. Always wanted people to join me during my runs and this could be an opportunity to do so.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music from the 60s - late 90's. Foo Fighters, Beatles, Oasis, and etc. (more on that genre).

Favorite movies will always be Christopher Nolan's filmography. Inception is the greatest movie ever made.

Fan of non-fiction books mostly. I read a lot of science-related topics and as well as a fair share of the motivational and self-help.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I wouldn't call it amazing, but I met amazing people that I'll cherish.

I've traveled to the UK for three weeks in 2014 for a cultural exchange and met people who were so warm and hospitable during that stay. I left the country with close friends that I keep in contact until now. Once they arrived here in Malaysia, I volunteered in bringing them around my local area. It was an amazing experience of cultural exchange at its finest.

This is what I recall so far.

Teach, Learn, Share

I would be interested to teach simple Tagalog and even English to those who needs it.

Learning about new cultures and customs from different people. I've always wanted to learn the history and happenings of a country from a local itself, rather than books.

Countries I’ve Visited

Cambodia, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, United Kingdom
