About Me

I'm a 20-something youth worker from Manila. I used to be an architect working in a prestigious architectural company in Ortigas center, working from 9-5, not mentioning ridiculous overtime, when suddenly I submitted my resignation letter effective immediately, citing quarter life crisis as my main reason but in reality I just wanted to climb a mountain but the Human Resource department didn't allow my request to have a vacation leave for 4 days. At the top of the mountain I realized that I'm not a 9-5 person - that I was just wasting my precious time in a small cubicle drafting floor plans and elevations.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Crossed a chest-deep flashflood together with a group of back packers just to swim with thousands of Sardines in Badian, Cebu

After watching into the wilds, I was inspired to do my own solo mountain climbing. I climbed mt arayat and as a dickhead, I created my own trail. With a machete on my hand, I slashed all the shrubs and tree branches blocking my way. Midway, as I kept on cutting branches, I just noticed a swarm of bees around me and started attacking me. I run as fast as I could while screaming for help - I stumbled and rolled down the mountain. Man, I swear I thought I'm gonna die. To cut the story short, I managed to escape the bees with at least 30 stings, swollen body and minor bruises and cuts all over my body. Locals heard my scream and helped me. Next morning, I continued my climb and reach the top. Awesome.

Got drunk in Shinjuku together with the Estonians. Advised me not to waste my time in Tokyo and visit Kyoto ASAP. So they booked my ticket and next thing I remembered, I sprinted all the way to Sumitomo and hopped to a night bus. Woke up in Kyoto station with a hangover and clueless what to do for the next couple of days.
