About Me

CURRENT MISSION

It's that mix of reasoning and feelings that makes the human beeing

ABOUT ME

"If we asked your best friends about you, what kinds of things would they say?"
Mhmm.. They'll tell lot of bad things for sure... better not ask them!
:D yes I like to joke... it makes life better

PHILOSOPHY

Goin' on knowing and understanding

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Hosting when I can.
PADOVA is a nice historic city not far from Venice.
It takes 30 minutes by train (or a little odyssey by car)
between Padova and Venice.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I began much before this website!

Interests

I'm addicted to windsurfing and this had influenced (and still does) most of my free time and movements.
I love music and play harp and guitar as much as i can.
The last passion is dancing, i'm having great fun learning different styles!

Also some boring stuff, like Politics, Wellness etc..

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: I'm at the moment in love with Rohmer, but I can't forget a couple of movies that could still change the world (from my little opinion) "All quiet on the western front" and "Ace in the hole", yes probably "Citizen Kane" is also on that side, though someway weaker.

Music: I've been playing guitar and harp in a tribute band of The Who; now I just enjoy singing and playing the Stones by myself. I listen to everything except metal.

Books: the obvious for travellers, like Kerouac's On the Road, Narziß und Goldmund (Hesse), In Patagonia and Anatomy of Restlessness (Chatwin), Cien años de soledad (i like to consider this a trip, through time and people rather then places).
Since some years I'm reading mostly essays on various subjects, the most influencing no doubt are Eastern Body, Western Mind by Anodea Judith and The Happiness Hypothesis by Jonathan Haidt.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I still remember a late afternoon watching the flight of a white dove in the old Copenhagen harbour, happened an impressive ray of light in that moment. (Very important, for those who know the city: I wasn't coming from Christiania!).
Oh yes but the question was "done"! Well... surfing gives plenty of them.
