About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To find as many off the beaten path farms, farm stands, local restaurants, and waterfalls/lakes as possible and then be able to find my way back to where I was....may be challenging!
ABOUT ME
I try to love most everything that I do, including my work where I spend a great deal of my time. I work mostly with children who have autism as well as children who may have speech or language difficulties.
In addition to my work, I really try to enjoy my free time as much as possible. I am in a constant juggling act between caring for myself and caring for others. I LOVE to cook with organic local produce, go to the farmer's market, and make meals with and for others. I am easily amused! I see service as an integral part of my life so some of my free time is spent volunteering in Hospice.
I am always looking for another adventure and try to stay active. I try most things once, twice, or longer and in the past couple of years that has included: going zipling, taking Kundalini of sound yoga, taking Djembe Drum classes, doing a 5:30 am boot camp, eating and making a lot of new ethnic food, going to a lavender festival, getting rid of my TV to make more time for my life, juicing raw veggies, changing my diet drastically, increasing mindfulness, decreasing my possessions, living in a house with 5 roomates, and living alone.
PHILOSOPHY
I live to fulfill my purpose, to learn, to teach, to serve, and to grow! I have fun and meet amazing people in the process!

Music, Movies, and Books
I like all kinds of music with the exception of rap and heavy metal. I read on many subjects, mostly nonfiction.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I moved my life to another state to be with an aunt as she was living with and then dying of cancer.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can share information about changing diet/Lifestyle. I am now gluten and casein free at 90%. I can share experience with working with kids with communication challenges. I may even be able to teach someone a song on the Djembe drum : ). I am very open to learning in multiple areas...I am open to what comes!
