ABOUT ME

I ask a lot of questions..very curious by nature.That is why I enjoy meeting new people and hearing their stories. I always think everyone else has it more interesting than I do.
I am a primary teacher. I like to know that I've shaped a mind that is still fresh. I like to come home from work and smile and the innocence of a child no matter what their history is.

PHILOSOPHY

Keep throwing yourself in the deep end because youre going to swim back up a better person.
The worst thing in life is to get too comfortable.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I like to try attend meetings whereever I am in the world to meet other travellers.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Well I heard about couch surfing in Malaysia in 2011. I was there as a stop over on the way to Vietnam (really wanted a day or two to go out and eat amazing food). At my hostel I met some people who were couch surfers and they introduced me to some locals and I spent the weekend having great food with great company!! I continued to do this in Vietnam where I was fortuante enough to visit the country with like minded people. I was able to really delve into the culture, seeing it through the eyes of the locals themselves. The experience does not get as genuine as that!

兴趣

riding my bike (bicycle :P) - The most theraputic exercise!
I've picked up an interest to learn french - whether I will follow through with it is a different story :P If there is anyone offering to teach I am more than happy to learn!
I love to bake!!! cookies, brownies, cake - anything that goes in the oven!!!

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Climbed Mount Sinai in the snow wcith canvas shoes, my sydney uni jumper, and a thin scarf wrapped around my head. Was convinced I was going to get frost bites by the time I reached the top, but seeing the world from that view - it did not matter what the weather was like! :)
