About Me

My motto in live is to be the best version of who you could be. I love having conversations about the human psyche (which is why I studied psychology) and philosophy. I know it sounds pretentious but I swear, I'm pretty down-to-earth. I think I fit well in Budapest because I'm secretly a pessimist with a hint of optimism. But hey, judge me when you meet me ;)

I'm super easy going in general, which is pretty much how I host people. I don't mind if you're out of the house most of the time and I understand that you'll be tired after exploring the city for the whole day. I'm pretty busy most of the time anyway, but we do appreciate it if you'd try and invite us to go out. After all, this is CS spirit.

I don't really like it when people send copy and paste couch requests to me, so tell me which era would you go back in time to and why in your message to me! I don't reply to any hosting messages without this answer. I know it's kinda mean, but I'm pretty busy so it helps to find interesting people! I've also uninstalled the Couchsurfing app from my phone since it has pretty crappy storage, so I don't check CS messages often on the website. It might take me a long time to reply messages. I didn't mean to do it, I swear! :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Before I settled down in Budapest, I was travelling on a very minimal budget around Europe. I wouldn't have survived if not because of the incredible kindness of the Couchsurfing community, so I'd like to pay it forward! Plus, I've learnt from so many people I met on CS and have heard so many stories from people! I think in general, CSers are awesome people hahaha

Interests

I get interested and bored pretty easily, so I'm currently into a lot of stuff half-heartedly. I'm learning how to code HTML/ CSS to make it easier to transition into a full time digital nomad, and am also optimistically hoping I could one day build my own website myself. I also like to write a lot, which is under my DN plan. I paint postcards for friends and family back home.

Music, Movies, and Books

It highly depends on my mood, as it is for most people I think. But I read and listen to a wide range of books and music. My current obsession is rap, from classics like Eminem to newer artists (to me anyway) like Kris Wu, Yaeji and blackbear. I collect a lot of music from where I travelled, so feel free to ask me for some awesome Hungarian raps. I also listen to chill music, like Oh Wonder, which is one of my all time favourite bands.

Teach, Learn, Share

It's a freaking cliche, but exchanging stories is all I can do right now hahaha
I'm quite curious about stuff though, so feel free to teach me anything you like! A host once taught me how to roll cigarettes, although I still suck at it coz I don't smoke.
