About Me

I was born in Oaxaca City, a southern state of Mexico.

Bachelor of Science in Chemistry.

I lived in Montreal for 6 months studying at McGill University.

Pharmaceutical and Medicinal Chemistry research

As far as I know my inner self and what my friends think about me, I can say that I am a trustful and reliable person.

Having the opportunity to live new experiences is the most valuable for me.

Learning from a new culture, traditions, customs, language and local people is something that encourage and excites me to travel.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

One of my dreams is travel around the world, and right now I have the opportunity to make it real. I´m planning to travel around Europe and explore as many as possible countries and recondite towns.
As my first travel in Europe, I will have the great opportunity to do it with a friend of mine, and because we will like to live marvelous experiences and get to know in a deeper way about the culture, customs, nearby places, festivities, food, landmarks, learn a bit of the foreign language and get new friends, we would like to meet local people so they can share a little of they knowledge and wisdom as inhabitants of a specific neighborhood.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I crossed walking part of the Saint Lawrence River, Montreal, in company of one Mexican friend, passing through Pont Jaques -Cartier and Pont Victoria days before Christmas.

I walked through the most visited sites for me in Cholula, Mexico with a friend of mine before we departed and go back home once finished university. Our journey finished with the sun rise in the best spot we could have ever imagined, Great Pyramid of Cholula facing an amazing landscape; Popócateptl & Mujer Domida volcanoes.

I climbed to the top of Coba´s pyramids known as "La iglesia" (The Church) located in an ancient Mayan city on the Yucatán Peninsula, Mexico. From the top, I could see most of the important water bodies for the ancient civilization inhabiting the jungle.

What I Can Share with Hosts

As a Mexican I could share with my host one of the most valuable things I consider I possess; my culture, specifically my cuisine and immense assortment of recipes & desserts, the prehispanic background, history and heritage of my quirky & quaint country, the great landscapes I have visited in Mexico and biodiversity I have admired.

Besides, my experiences & adventures along my student life when I used to travel around Mexico and in Montreal, the places that I visited, the food I have tasted and the friends I have made.

One of my hobbies used to be musical instruments and fortunately I know how to play drums and right now I´m learning to play the violin.

Trying to find an answers to those things that cause me intrigue in my early age pushed me to study Chemistry. Nevertheless, that passion still burst my desire to understand more about the unexplored matter, leading to read and investigate continuously.
