About Me

Back in Singapore after an 8 month stint in beautiful Aarhus. More than glad to show you around Singapore.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have met many friends from all over the world through Couchsurf events and it has always been a pleasant time. I love the couchsurfing spirit of paying it forward through kindness and laughter, and I hope I can put a smile on your face and have a great time too.

Interests

I love leisure running and swimming, so with some spontaneity I signed up for a half marathon in 2012. Suffice to say, that was hell of an experience but I think I will not go for another marathon any time soon :)

Being an Arts student, I took a philosophy module which was highly intriguing. I learnt about the possibility of us living in a 'computer simulation' and the cosmological argument on whether God exists. I would love to have a chat if you're keen on philosophical concepts too, it would be nice to hear from you.

Music, Movies, and Books

Sigur Rós and M83 is my go-to source of music whenever I feel down. They have the kind of music that makes reminds you of the vastness of this world. One of my favourite song is Ágætis Byrjun. Because of Sigur Ros, I decided that I must visit Iceland and I did last year, 2017. Very refreshing.

I also listen to mainstream EDM (or pop songs that gets stuck in my head)

For movies, I absolutely adore "We bought a Zoo" because it's the movie that I discovered Sigur Rós from. Life of Pi is one of my favourite too :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Asking friendly-looking strangers on the streets of Paris if we could crash at their place after meeting some problems with CS.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I am a junkie for astronomy so I took up an astronomy module in University. Holla if you like stargazing too!

I could guide you to the stars and constellations in the night sky as well as teach you how to locate directions using the stars. Sirius is my favorite.

Since I live in a multi-racial country, you can learn more about a myriad of Asian culture from me as well!

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, Belgium, Cambodia, China, Czech Republic, Denmark, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Iceland, Indonesia, Malaysia, Myanmar, Netherlands, Portugal, Singapore, Spain, Sweden, Thailand, United Kingdom, Viet Nam

Countries I’ve Lived In
