About Me

I'm 32 and currently reside in Orlando, FL but I am constantly on the go whether it's around my city or on some other adventure! I have traveled extensively and have lived in several US states. I work in the nonprofit sector and am building my bakery brand on the side. I am married to the love of my life leading our blended family of five boys. When not working, I am making memories with my family, writing, reading or, of course, traveling. I lead a very FULL life and am always excited to meet new people.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I travel. A lot. Hotels are overpriced and the cheaper ones often have low service standards, which gets annoying. But they're also lonely. Couchsurfing is a wonderful exchange which promises connections with other humans that can enrich any travel experience. My heart is already full of gratitude for the wonderful people I have yet to meet through couchsurfing.

In the past I haven't been able to host but now we have our own home that's big enough. Looking forward to welcoming guests soon.

When couchsurfing, my kids will not be with me and it'll be either myself or with my fiancé.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music - just about any genre, really particular about artists. Some of my faves would include Andrea Bocelli, Adele, Silvana Estrada, Mutemath, and more.
Movies - I grew up pretty much away from movies and I got used to it. So there's a lot I haven't seen. My taste in movies may not be as great as my taste in music, but a few of my favorite films are Annie (the original), Sound of Music, Machine Gun Preacher, and Gone Girl.
Books - this list is toooo long, so let's just say I love all books, even the horribly written ones. Words are life to me.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Worked as a staff write for an Oklahoma newspaper at the age of 18. Island hopped in the Philippines. Also, I walked barefoot on the cold streets of NYC at night. Hiked on Oahu. Road tripped Puerto Rico. Sky Dived along the Space Coast. But not as amazing as becoming a mommy to the best little boys, ever.

Teach, Learn, Share

I love getting to know people. Learning about their history, their adventures, what things they've learned in this life so far. I appreciate those who have worldviews and opinions that challenge mine and make me dig deeper into my own beliefs. I connect to those who walk with their hearts on their sleeves and have not forgotten how to laugh. I'm interested in making friends and creating a worldwide family outside of my own. I'd love for you to be a part of it.
