About Me
I love punk rock music, beer, traveling and writing :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Before my high school backpacking trip, I read The Art of Asking by Amanda Palmer. I loved the way she wrote about couchsurfing in people’s homes and seeing them in their most vulnerable and human form. I am eternally grateful for everyone that opened up their couches, homes and lives to a curious and broke 17 year old. I learned so much about other people’s cultures and different interests. I can’t even imagine how lonely I would have been without the love I received from random strangers abroad :)
I had my first guest stay with me in my apt in NYC and it was so rewarding to be on the other side of it as well.
Now at 20, I’m studying abroad and looking forward to many more unforgettable couchsurfing experiences!
