About Me
Hiii, I'm Angie, and basically, I am a coffee-addicted, chocolate-loving, always dancing, vintage-upsest, wanna-be hippie. I love art, music and books and could philosophize about life all day long. On top of that I am very positive and try to spread joy and laughter wherever I go. I see life as an opportunity to try all kinds of things, so I love following all kinds of different interests, from sports to traveling, from theatre to protesting, and from traveling to working.
Well and here I am. Meeting the world through a little app on my phone.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I LOVE traveling, experiencing new cultures and making new friends! And I believe there is no better way of experiencing a new city or country than by the people who live there! Sooooo, I believe Couchsurfing is an amazing way of getting to know the locals - in places we never thought we’d know a person.
Interests
Besides different cultures and socializing with people, I love sports! Doesn't matter if it's skiing, climbing or hiking in the mountains or surfing in the sea - whatever it is, I'm in! But I can also enjoy a lazy day sitting on the couch doing some writing, reading a book or watching a movie.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
- Climbed Mt. Moses in Egypt while having food poisoning
- Hitchhiked to uni for an entire month straight
- Been homeless in Japan
- Jumped from the world’s highest canyon plunge (in Bohol, Philippines)
- Climbed the Alps’ most difficult via ferrata – and managed to stay alive
- been a blind passenger on the iron ore train in Mauritania (longest train on earth)
