About Me

CURRENT MISSION

I'm like a sailor, I want to see all I can see see see. In order to do that, I like immersing myself in a culture and meeting and learning from other cultures

ABOUT ME

I'm a bit here there and everywhere at the moment. I grew up in Sydney, NSW (Australia) then moved to St Kilda, VIC (Again, Oz) 6 years ago. I have a lovely 1 bedroom there that I share with my boyfriend, my beagle (Pike) and my cat (Schmoo).
I caught the travel bug and in March this year I moved to Madrid, Spain. I'm an English teacher and spend my spare time travelling around this amazing continent! I'm a personable, bubbly girl who is meticulously clean and my friends would call me generous. I'm not REALLY a party all night type of girl, however I love red wine and food of all types. I'm hoping to find lifelong friends.

PHILOSOPHY

Try not to worry, although sometimes it's inevitable. Try not to worry about money, it's just little pieces of paper at the end of the day. I live for my family and friends - they are the only way to true happiness

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

So, basically I have two couches to offer; One close to the beach in Melbourne, Australia (after my return in December, 2012) and two, fairly close to the city centre in Madrid (until December, 2012)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

LOVE IT!! Met some amazing people and they've actually been my highlight of the cities I've visited!! Can't wait to go back to Australia and host people!!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Enjoyed some Spanish festivals - the most amazing was Fallas, which is in Valencia in March every year. Words cannot describe how amazing it was!! they create beautiful structures and compete for the best, then they burn them to the ground!! There was also the most amazing fireworks display I've ever seen in my life.
In November i'm going to Iceland to see the Northern Lights and I've wanted to see them for over 20 years so i think that will be pretty life-changing
