COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

NEWBIE. mostly through word of mouth, which is never fully accurate.

combat sports (I practice muay thai but am otherwise very gentle and peace loving), beach volleyball, diving, exploring abandoned natural and man-made places, sketching and painting, photography, spirituality, good coffee, watching old meg ryan movie reruns.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

swimming with a baby whale shark and spraying bubbles on its belly.

laughing so hard at some foreign language comedy on TV with gentle laotians on a full bus; with sacks of potatoes and pineapples under our feet, and the lolling head of a sleeping lao baby on my elbow.

fighting in a ring and getting my arse handed to me.

oh thats more than 1, but all equally humbling moments.
