Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To travel to a zillion places before I settle down for life (hopefully learning more about baking, facepainting, craft and photography as I go)!
ABOUT ME
I love the fine things in life - art, books, cooking, good wine, music and languages - and I am looking at life as a neverending path of tertiary education.
PHILOSOPHY
"We could learn a lot from crayons. They are all different shapes, sizes and colors yet they all manage to live peacefully in the same box." - Anonymous
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
At the moment, I can show people around my favourite parts of Seoul or meet up for a drink (alcoholic or non-alcoholic) or a meal - I'm a real foodie and love to share it.
Interests
Reading, cooking (particularly baking, which I hope to share with anyone I couchsurf with), arts and crafts (especially face painting, knitting, cross stitch and photography, areas I would love to discuss with couchsurfers), reading and listening to music.

Music, Movies, and Books
Movies: V for Vendetta, The Matrix Trilogy, Love Actually, Priscilla Queen of the Desert, Doing Time For Patsy Cline, Tank Girl.
Music: Diversifying, thanks to living in a complex with a noraebang room. On my plalist are Blondie, Billy Mack, DBSK, Kiroro, soundtrack exerpts and Kirk Incorporated.
Books: I crave books. I love reading. My aim this year is to read a hundred books (I have six to go). I've read everything from Sophie Kinsella to John Grisham to sociology treatises to Emily Barr to Beverley Lewis.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
...my proudest and most amazing achievement to date is completing my Honours thesis. Still getting over that one.
Teach, Learn, Share
I love baking and cooking. I am on the way to perfecting muffins of all kinds, and my cookies aren't too bad either by the accounts of my co-workers (they proudly proclaim to be my guinea pigs!). I would love to learn how to frost/ice cakes better, and how to make bread without killing the yeast. I love to facepaint, and can do some pretty good cheek art - getting better at face and body art. I enjoy photography but although I know how to do it in theory, my practical exercises leave a lot to be decided. I am interested in learning about many things; I am interested in imparting whatever knowledge/skills I have that you want to learn.
