About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Travel and meet people

ABOUT ME

But I try to remind myself that there's nothing I can do-I am who I am. Instead, within the confines of what's reasonable,I try to push my limits and learn as much as I can in my process.

Meet me in person to know me better. To break the ice, I would prefer to meet up with people in CS event.

I try to surround myself with positive, open minded people. Always ready for the impromptu adventurous outdoor activity. Just be yourself, be a sport and hang out with people.

I think a positive attitude, listening to your intuition, and using the same street smarts you would employ at home go a long way.

PHILOSOPHY

Life is pure adventure; and the sooner we realize that, the quicker we will be able to treat life as art.It is not happy people who are thankful; It is thankful people who are happy.Strength does not come from winning but from the will to go through hardships and deciding not to surrender.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I would like to participate in group activities with the local Couch Surfing community in promoting our culture and local culinary to people from all over the world. I am interested in the Couch Surfing get-together activities - watching movies , photography, food outing, visiting historical sites, salsa dancing (maybe), to have a coffee or a drink.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have done a fair bit of joining CouchSurfing event and organizing cultural bric a brac market co-organized with Alliance Francaise KL and International and short film festival event.

A good website to meet people and exchange life and cultural from all over the world.

Interests

I love to travel. Travel to a different country has given me moments of overwhelming happiness. That's not to say every day has been perfect, but on the whole, I have been lucky enough to explore some extraordinary countries, meet terrific new friends and eat as much food as possible.

Travel has also helped me to keep life in perspective in the long and short term.

I am a happier, more relaxed person with thousand of stories and pictures from some of the most fascinating places on earth.

Listening to music. I enjoyed going for live music concert, music festival, movies, walking in the park and going to beaches.

Music, Movies, and Books

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Travel to 5 different cities in south of Japan by JR- West Rail Pass in 7 days - From Nagoya to Tokyo, Kyushu (Hakata), Beppu, Kagoshima, Kumamoto and Nagasaki. The long-anticipated Trans-Kansai trains proved to be a wonderful, often hilarious and fascinating way to travel in Japan, and have remained a highlight overall.

I have also realized that vacation is insufficient to sustain my travel needs; I need to immerse myself more thoroughly to satisfy my desire to learn about a new place. And I have to come to love Asia more than I ever expected, from the street food to the people to the millions of small, quirky things that make each and every day a smile-inducing adventure.

I choose these cities because I truly enjoyed ONZEN (hot spring).

In 2001, I was in the Teacher Union manifestation in the street of Paris with my good friends Eric Oudard and Pascal Cibiel.

Seen the Pyramid in Giza and sat on the beach facing the Red Sea in Ain Soukhna, Suez (Egypt) and Egyptian Museum in Cairo.

I've both good and bad times on the road but overall, I am thrilled to have done it.

I've found that getting out there and starting on a new trajectory is the scariest part; the rest falls into place a lot more seamlessly than you expect!

How lucky is that?

Angela
