Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I did some couchsurfing in the past, but now i am pretty inactive on the site, since i have been travelling with old/new friends or work connections during the last years.
I come back to my home (a caravan in a shared house) really little during the year, so i am not able to host.
I talk about couchsurfing to all travellers i meet (most already know it, some not), i like to promote the idea and the site even if i don't directly take advantage of it often.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have been hosted a few times.I always had interesting experiences. My first time was 7 years ago, when i moved from Italy to France. It was incredible, i was supposed to stay 3 or 4 days in Jowann house, but he was so cool that we ended up living together for one month!!! Last time i was not hosted but i met some really nice people in Colombia and Brasil...Thanks CS!

Interests

Mmm...not obliged to be in order, depending by moments: playing and listening music, cooking and eating and drinking, talking and laughing, having good time with old and new people, walking and observing things around me, getting better in all ways, sharing, training love!

Music, Movies, and Books

Too much and too many to write it down in here...
i just read the trilogy Kingsbridge Series by Ken Follet, it is an amazing and enlightening travel into what was one of the most important periods (12th - 16th century) of formation of modern western economical religious colonizing mentality as it is now, seen from big image to deep daily life details, i really suggest to who likes history and anthropology!

Some personal music suggestions, in random order:

Luigi Lai, The Doors, Ali Farka Toure, Beth carvalho, Radiohead, Sonora Carruseles, almost all ethnic traditional music, Queen, Venetian Snares, Miles davis, Sonic Youth, John Coltrane, Justice, Gnawa Diffusion, John Lee Hooker, James Brown, Daniela Mercury, Fabulosos Cadillacs, Ataualpa Yupanqui, Antonio Vivaldi, Fabrizio de André, CCCP, Sex Pistols; Rosa Balistreri, ..............tbc

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Paragliding in Rio de Janeiro!!!

Teach, Learn, Share

Well, i would surely learn anything related to being well in life, music, respect, culture, resistance to oppression... And i could teach...different styles songs with guitar, the languages i know, some recipes...and other things to discover on the way!

What I Can Share with Hosts

Time, (and anything in and out of that).
If i ask to somebody if s/he can host me thru couchsurfing is because i am on a travel where i want to meet people and spend time with them, to explore the place (and humanity in general) :-)

Countries I’ve Visited

Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Czech Republic, Egypt, England, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Morocco, Portugal, Spain, United States
