ABOUT ME

Though originally educated as a pharmacist*, my passion for photography goes back to my universitiy years.
I developed an interest in photography, mostly of new countries and places I have visited, people of different cultures i have seen. I tried to discover the world packing along only a 35mm camera.
During my education at university, I made several overland travels with my camera to capture every unique scene and landscape. I have been to more than 25 countries including overland trips from Turkey to Nepal for 3 months and Central Asia for 2 months.
My other backpacking trips include Kazahhstan, Kırgızhstan, Uzbekhistan, Turkmenhistan, Afghanistan, Pakistan, India, Nepal, Spain, Jordan, Yemen, Syria, Iran, Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam, Laos, Malasia, Morocco, Kosovo, Macedonia, Serbia, Albania, Tunusia, Portugal, Georgia, Armenia, Croiata, Bosnia Herzogovia, Montenegro, Walles, England, Cuba, Egypt, Greece. I explore the new places, meet people of different cultures, shoot every scene to share.
After a couple of years in freelance photography, I had several editorials at Turkish travel & lifestyle magazines and daily newspapers. I worked for many different media including online, working as an editor for preparing the travel pages.
Even though I specialize in travel photography, I have several experiences as event photographer as well. Working with international companies I experienced shooting press meetings, roadshows and any kind of events.
Currently I keep working as freelenace photographer and travel editor for local magazines & papers in Turkey. Also, I sell images for all manner of commercial and editorial use.
