ABOUT ME

We are Kate (the English) and Ewerton (the Brazilian),we are a delightful (i hope) couple who have been together for 8 years and love travelling off the beaten track. We have lived together in England for 7 years and get away whenever we can to travel the world.

We are very easy going and love experiencing new cultures and meeting new people. We don't feel like we're getting this from hostels so we want to get off the tourist trail and meet the real people. We are always interested in trying new things as there is nothing greater than a new experience!!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We have experienced incredibly hospitality from people we have met already and we hope that CS will give us the same experience but a little easier to find. Experiencing the local lifestyle with the locals has made us want to give back and help other poor travellers who will be in the same position that we are now. Maybe we can help them like others have helped us!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We are currently couchsurfing virgins but can't wait to try it out. Have stayed in numerous hostels from the down right dingy to some really great places. But we love meeting the local people more than anything!

Interests

Travelling....obviously....!!! Languages, sightseeing, spending time with friends and meeting new people. Doing something different!! Ewerton (the brazillian) loves football of course... I don't!

Too many to name.... love non-fiction books, black and White films and all kinds of music. Kate loves cheese and is not ashamed to say it!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

We have visited about 25 countries and counting (but we'd like it to be more) and done things like skydiving, paragliding, bungy jumping.

Teach, Learn, Share

We can teach samba (badly) and how to make great toast.

Would love to help people improve their English.

We are open to learning anything!
