About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To help my fellow man and live a harmonious life
ABOUT ME
I am 73 and my husband Bo is 66. We are translators and work as a team and we are very active. We believe that aging is caused by ones attitudes. If you believe that you can do something, you can.
In the Summer 2013 we went on a trip to England and Scotland in our RomaHome, a mini camper, called Indy (after Indiana Jones.)

PHILOSOPHY
Even a long journey starts with one single step. We want to make this world to a better place and we work hard for human rights, spiritual freedom etc.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I have hosted and met the people below and I have also attended some CS events. It has been a great pleasure to meet and talk to all these nice people. They have all enriched our live.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
1. Minjing Ji,Shanghai, gave me a dinner invitation to Shanghai.
2. Jasmin Schnyder, Switzerland. We laughed a lot and she has invited me to Switzerland.
3. Emelie and Thomas from France. I got a book by Anna Galvadda and an invitation to Rennes.
4. I attended a CS event at the Museum of World Culture in Gothenburg and I liked it.
5. Arpad Kovacs from Budapest. Learned us a lot about Hungary.
6. Attended after work at a Chineese restaurant with about 30 CS-members.
7. Valerie and Felisa from Germany. We created a taco buffet together and Felisa did her specialty - brownies. Valerie gave me coffee from her hometown Göttinger and an invitation to Tubingen.
8. Elena and her son Kiril from Belarus. They are the first ones I have met from Belarus. We prepared a dinner together and spent a nice evening together with
9. Michael Gentschy from Bad Reichenhall, who also is a couchsurfer. He is a very interesting person.
10. Bobby and Kellie. We celebrated Walpurgis night together by listening to a speech to welcome the spring and male choirs in the Hortocultural park and watching the Chalmerscortege (a parade made by students).
11. Maria P. She came here for a conference. We had a very nice time together although Bo and I was very busy. We watched a Russian movie together, Elena, and had a "fika" at Hagabion (cinema).
12. Jasmin from Switzerland came back a second time and it was really nice to meet her again. This time the weather was fine and she didn´t like to return to Switzerland.
13. Susanna T. She is Swedish (with Finnish descent). She is on training to become an elevator techncian, being the only woman among 27 participants she is a real pioneer.
14. Desiree Lim from Singapore. We did a barbecue in the kitchen as it was too cold outside. And we talked a lot and took a walk in Slottsskogen. I am so excited about the "girlpower" in all these young women I have met!
15. Ana da Silva. Born in Brazil, now living in Amsterdam. I am happy that I could offer her a typical Swedish Midsummer celebration together with my friends.
16. Lila Cousin. Lila is from Lyon and had studied to become a film director in Brussels. It was a great pleasure to meet her.
17. Judith & Silvi from Bochum, Germany. Bo took care of them, the weather was nice and they could enjoy "Kulturkalaset" (a yearly festival).
18. Detlev from Germany. He came to Gothenburg because his son will study for 4 months at Chalmers.
19. We went to Prague for one week and stayed with a non-cs, but we met two coachsurfers Radek Smuda and Rainer. They were both very nice and we hope to meet them again.
20.We hosted Gosia and Bozena, originally from Polen, now living in London. We loved to host them and will coach surf in there home in 3 weeks in London.
21. I met Hjördis, another CS:er in my age, and we had a lot of things to talk about.
22. Liisa from Tallin. She came here for a course at Valand. I told her that my grandfather had studied at Valand and I took photo of her and two small paintings from Valand.
23. Bo and I were in London with Gosia and Bozena. It was our first experience as surfers. It was very nice to visit them and see their house and we were warmly welcomed.
24. Reza Mahmoudi from Teheran. Reza is a vet and part of a national committee and was in Sweden in his profession. See the incredible story about Reza and the rabbit in my reference of him.
