Overview
About Me
Hi I'm Angus and I've just gotten back from spending a few months in Europe where I did a bit of Couchsrufing and was looking to return the favour now I'm home. My place is a bit out of the city, about 45 minute drive or an hour on public transport, right at the foothills of the Dandenong ranges national park, but there is a train that goes all the way into the CBD regularly on weekend or weekdays. I'd be more than happy to show you around the national park and other spots in this area.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I've only heard good things about couch surfing from other people. Friends of mine have hosted guests and it seems like a really good way to meet people and have an authentic experience of a place. I've travelled a bit before and normally stay at hostels and guest houses so it would be nice to get a different perspective of a place.
Interests
I love the outdoors and all the activities that come with it, camping, fishing, the ocean, swimming, making fires, cooking, bushwalking, etc but I'm still keen to take on new things. I think I'd like to get involved in rock-climbing and surfing a bit more this year
I've bought a slackline with me on this trip so if that's something that interests you then I'd be more than happy to share.

What I Can Share with Hosts
Hopefully some great conversations, a few laughs and a lot of fun! I also like cooking a lot and don't mind making vegetarian food if that's your thing! Curry, stir fry & different pasta dishes are my staples but I'm always willing to try something extra and find some new recipes.
