Always been intrigued by exotic places… I've been to a fair few places, but the most enjoyable trips have been more recently, travelling solo to try to really get a feel for a place. I wouldn't be on this site if I didn't enjoy that, would I!!

Apart from obviously enjoying travelling, I'm big on outdoor activities — skiing, scuba diving, paragliding, hiking, surfing, flying (currently training to be a pilot), and soon kitesurfing. And to recover, I'll read a (non-fiction) book or current affairs magazine.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I like to travel and I love to meet local people wherever I visit. Couchsurfing is the most underrated way to really get to know a culture or place! Great new friends, interesting new ideas, always new situations you never thought you'd be in.
