Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
No formal Couch surfing experience but I've been crashing at peoples houses for prolonged periods in exchange for cleaning, tea/dinner/breakfast making and such for most of my adult life.
Interests
I'm pretty good in the kitchen, and I know all the theme tunes to every children's TV programme from the mid 70s onwards.
I like comedy, theatre, puppetry (all three of which I do - a bit - for a living). I'm interested in film making and editing, writing, gardening, emergent technology and anything that provides evidence of the weird.

Music, Movies, and Books
Movies:Terry Gilliam, Blade Runner, Metropolis, Akira, Annie Hall, A night at the Opera, Ghostbusters, Highlander...I could go on?
Music: Pink Floyd, Lamb, Laurie Anderson, Giorgio Moroder, Radiohead, The Cure, Bowie, etc.
Books: I'll take most things for a spin but will put them down pretty early unless there are some actual ideas in play. Have a soft spot for Phillip K Dick
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I took part in a naked art piece organised by Belarus Free Theatre in protest against the totalitarian regime of Belarus.
I'll tell you the rest over tea and biscuits.
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm up for cooking for my hosts: my repertoire includes lasagne, a variety of curries and bloody good mash and gravy.
I'll teach you you how to tell stories, write jokes, play few songs I know on the guitar and make hot hot and sour soup.
