Overview
About Me
A young backpacker who likes broadening his horizons by meeting new people, trying new things and visiting new places.
My ideal style of travel is to be able to spend time in a place to be able to meet locals and to better understand what a place is like and about. Up until recently I was tree planting around BC and Alberta which was a very interesting time. I CAN FINALLY HOST PEOPLE YEWWWWWW.
I'm back in Revelstoke for my second winter season after a brief spell away putting some trees in the ground. Even though I don't want Revelstoke to keep growing exponentially I want to show people what I love so much about this place.
I want to be able to host everyone and anyone but make sure you tell me a bit about yourself and what you are looking for Also it would be great if you could let me know why you want to stay with me. I have pretty humble accommodation, with a well equipped kitchen and a fairly comfy couch - unless you are taller than 5ft11 (181cm). It is a small place and we don't have lots of sleeping things. Therefor I would prefer not to host groups, unless there is something really special going on.
It has a parking space which is available and I am around a fair amount of time except Tuesday to Friday evenings.
I have a season ski pass and if possible would love to show people a bit of the mountain.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
The only way to truly know a place is to live there, unfortunately it is not always possible to do this, in that case locals are the best way to at least get an overview of a place. I love the idea of meeting people, making friends and getting to know what a place is about.
Interests
My hobbies are socializing, enthusiasm, hiking, biking, skiing reading and watching movies. I am also trying to be more creative through writing and drawing, as well as working towards learning new things.
Music, Movies, and Books
Last year I was at Woodford Folk festival which got my appetite for folk, jazz and blues going. However I like most music. Favourite book would be the 100 year old man who climbed out of the window and disappeared. It would be hard to pick a favourite movie, however Django, Scarface, or the intouchables would be up there.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Written a fairy tale about two friends relationship which they are now considering using at their wedding.
