Overview
About Me
I'm a chilled Australian who loves travelling, learning and am always trying new things (especially new foods etc). I've travelled many places and am looking forward to travelling many more. I'm a musician by trade but have spent quite a lot of time at University studying different things. I love languages and over the years have learned many phrases and become intermediate at a few, but time has not served me well and what was learned has been mostly lost. I still have a dream of teaching English and learning the language of the country I'm in (possibly Spanish).
I've done couch surfing a bit before, both hosting and surfing, but always with other friends accounts. Seems a bit silly now. Oh well.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To meet new people, live like the locals and get to learn more about couches.
Interests
Everything is interesting in some form. I have a particular interest in contemporary music, especially music with a variety of harmonic interest. I love books but unfortunately always fall out of the habit of reading them. Douglas Adams is arguably my favourite author.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Probably completing the 3 pass trek in Nepal, stopping off at Everest base camp.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you about music having studied it for 4 years at University. Guitar, piano, bass and trumpet I can show you some stuff. I can't sing to save my life, maybe you could teach me?
What I Can Share with Hosts
Information exchange. I've learned / seen a lot of stuff and I'm sure you have too. I always enjoy cooking to give my thanks. Unfortunately I can't cook any traditional Australian meals as they almost don't exist, aside from kangaroo, crocodile and damper all thrown on the barbie!! I don't know what a shrimp is.
