Overview
About Me
I'm a easy going kind of guy doing a PhD in Physics down in Exeter, UK. I spend my free time boxing, swimming and seeing friends.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I like to travel and meet new people of course!
People make a place and it's always good to get to know new folk and see what they're all about.
Interests
My favourite past time is having dinner and a drink with friends. After that comes Boxing, then swimming. When I am tired I waste time reading wikipedia, watching videos on youtube, maybe do some hobby coding if my brain is working. In my holidays I like go hiking, spending time in the wild is great and I really want to bag some long distance trails in the future. I love to travel, see new places and meet new people.

Music, Movies, and Books
Vonnegut, Orwell and Irvine Welsh are some of my favourite authors. At time of writing I'm reading "the kite runner". Recent(ish) reads include "Do androids dream of electric sheep", Marcus Aurelius' "Meditations" and "To kill a mockingbird". Although I don't read as often as I should.
Some of my favourite films off the top of my head are Master and Commander, Trainspotting and Les Intouchables.
Music that I have been listening to a lot recently is Radiohead's in rainbows album and the Gorillaz' debut album Gorillaz. The death-note soundtrack is my go to work playlist.
Favorite drinks are red wine, ales, malt whiskey, Irish coffee and white Russians. Nothing too sweet.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Won my first Thai-Boxing match at a local show. Knees all day
