About Me
My mission: Water for all - All for water! As part of an organisation called "Viva con Agua" I am supporting projects that ensure a general access to water and sanitary hygiene. Water is a human right! 💧
Honestly, I never experienced any kind of home-sickness but wanderlust (or as we in Germany call it "Fernweh").
I love to meet new countries, cities and people, and maybe make new friends on the way?
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I believe that more than any tour guide or Lonely Planet, the locals know what makes their city they live in so charming and special. Therefore, I'd like to meet new people and get to know the behind-the-scenes of a city. I think that CS is a great platform to just connect with people before going to another place.

Music, Movies, and Books
It actually changes pretty often, because I discover or people show me new stuff all the time.
I enjoy listening to music scores (because it makes my “boring” daily life so much more dramatic!), but also pop and rock, and (lofi) hiphop. But I love to get to know new songs!
As for movies: anything at all. I really do love going to the theatre or just spending a chill night with some snacks. I totally love Inception and Parasite and have been to the cinemas twice already since the opening of theatres.
I don’t read as much as I used to, but my favourite genre would be comedy, but also fiction connected with real life events and/or history (The Book Thief is one of my favourites). I am currently reading the Midnight Library by Matt Haig.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I was living in Ecuador for one year and got to spend a great time with the local people there that invited me to their homes and were like a second family away from home for me. I will never forget the kindness and hospitality I got to experience there.
Teach, Learn, Share
I am very open to getting to know new cultures and would gladly share my thoughts about them.
I’m a real foodie and tend to spend way too much money for good food. So I would like to know where I can get the best food for the best price, or what your favourite dish is that you can make.
I really enjoy cooking and baking with other people, but it rather has to be vegan since I don’t eat meat nor fish, and I am allergic to lactose (anything with milk or cheese). Although I do love eggs and old, ripened cheese, but if you know some vegan recipes I would be happy to try them!
What I Can Share with Hosts
If you were to host me, I will gladly help you with the dishes or any kind of tasks to help you! I am easy-going and love to meet new people. I can also teach you German (or some of the other languages I speak) and tell you about the German and/or Vietnamese culture. Also, I love cooking and would gladly make you something, if given the opportunity.
