Overview
About Me
I must have been a gypsy in a previous life because I love traveling, and staying in one place for too long makes me restless.
I recently quit my day job to build my online business helping people use food as medicine to heal themselves and come off their medications safely.
I host the popular and #1 iTunes ranked podcast, Food as Medicine with Dr. Anh.
I love to eat (who doesn't?!?), meet new people and have amazing conversations, and learn/observe the way people live their lives. When I travel I really enjoy immersing myself in what the locals eat and do.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I typically travel solo so I would love to meet new people.
I've been really hesitant to try it out, but I pride myself in always being willing to try new things and I think it's probably one of the best ways to see new places from a local's perspective.
Plus, when I'm at home I'm usually sleeping on the couch anyway! I am an online entrepreneur and work from home...get a little tired...and before I know it I am fast asleep on the couch.
Interests
Food, exploring nature, Asian dramas (specifically Korean dramas), drum circles, podcasting, doing new things.

Music, Movies, and Books
Top 40, inspirational songs. Songs with amazing lyrics.
I don't watch too much TV/movies but I like comedies and action films (and rom coms) the best.
I love listening to and reading health and personal development books.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I fulfilled a lifelong dream of mine in 2012 and traveled back to my homeland of Vietnam for an aid expedition as part of the medical team. Can't wait to do it again, and more often!
