Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Any way I can, I will do my best to be courteous and helpful whether I'm Hosting or on the road. I have already mentioned this site to many friends, Hoping they will join in on the experience as well.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I am new to the community, and excited to get started. I plan on traveling in the very near future, To locations in the U.S. such as Texas and southern California. I will be available to host soon after, Before making my to the East Coast. My International plans will hopefully soon follow.

Interests

Having good times with friends, and learning about different cultures and ideologies. I love watching my favorite movies and television shows. I like to go out for drinks and enjoy the town, But don't do it as much as I used to. Hiking is another one of my favorite activities, and in Oregon there are plenty of good places to go and sights to see. I'm also a bit of a Foodie, I subscribe to Andrew Zimmern's quote "If it looks good, Eat it."

Music, Movies, and Books

I leave it to Three in Each. For Movies #3 would be Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, #2 The Big Lebowski, and #1 Blade Runner. For Music My favorite bands are TOOL, Primus, and Radiohead. For books i am going to list what I am currently reading, The Great War for Civilisation, The Essential Carl Jung, and Abraham Lincoln Vampire Hunter to lighten it up just a bit(LoL).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Seeing San Francisco for the first time and feeling the ambiance of just walking on it's streets late at night, was one of the more eye opening experiences of my life. Likewise Las Vegas was another great travel experience although I was young at the time of my visit, Definitely worth a return trip.

Teach, Learn, Share

I am willing to share any and all of my knowledge, to any who wants it. I am also excited to gain the kind of wisdom and insight, you can only attain through traveling and meeting people from all backgrounds.
