Hi! my name is Ofek! world, art and people lover!:)
I was born in tel aviv, israel, grew up in the area and still living here.
I'm intrested in human connections, learning and creating art.
I love to move, to be on the move, to walk, to get places ect. to just feel the movement!

I do some kinds of art; pancil drawing, oil painting, video art, ceramics, photographing, bass guitar, singing, writing poems and short stories, cooking and tattooing with a machine and stick-n-poke.

I love cycling on a bike and riding on a skateboard, listening to music, animals, mostly black coffee and espresso, green japanese tea and would usually go with a dark beer or a red wine, depending on the food and feel.

In my house i grow a lot of plants (aroids ,succulents and spices) and i mostly eat plant based foods.

I used to work at a cafe, loved to wake up early and bike, meet the different people at their first stop, making them smile and a beautiful coffee. at the same time i also worked with kids, it was the couple of hours in every day when i gave them kids my heart, we played, talked, laughed and i tried to pass them my tolerance, way of thinking and education.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

In the first moment I heard about the existence of couchsurfing I knew right away that this is what i'm gonna be be doing for my next trip.
I love meeting new people, talking, learning about the differences between cultures and our ways of living. will spred love as much as I can.
Also, something my grandma always did whenever we'd go to is talk to the local's, she is not here anymore and it does not get easier, but when I travel, she's travelling with me. I love the fact that this app can create connections directly to the locals [else I would probably go, ask and talk anyways ;) ]. It exites me. there is no better way to learn about the place you're at, but to talk to a local.

I really can't choose one favorite of anything but i'll put here some that are very close to my heart.
I love rock, progressive/art rock, jazz, hip hop, r&b, soul, classical, latin/mpb, middle-eastern, electronic, reggea, and experimental in general.
I'll go with-
The doors- 'strange days'.

about movies, I started watching more and more movies the last year and one movie that i found really intersting is-
'The french dispatch' by Wes Anderson.

aaaand about books, I can't say a favorite the one i'm reading right now is 'breakfast of champions' by Kurt Vonnegut

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Wow! ok
On my 13th birthday I skydived!
It was extraordinary to see my whole (so small) country in those couple of minutes!
I also plan to do it again in this very trip :)

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach; Painting, Drawing, Photography, Riding a skateboard, Hebrew, Making short 'fanzine' And some more!

Can share my knowledge on plants, Turntables and the world of vinyl records in general and so the whole vintage home listening stereo system, Israeli culture- music and culinary world, A LOT of music and so on...

Would love to learn about anything- but, would love learn yoga and then meditate together, cultures and way of lives, New music instruments, really anything!
