HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

In case you have questions about travel in the Czech Republic and / or in Russia; or want to meet up for a drink in Prague - will be happy to hear from you :).

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My first couchsurfing experience was the most memorable... it was with a family in Morocco. Their son picked me up at Casablanca airport, and we travelled for a couple of hours by two minibuses, service taxi and the last hour by walk (he was very nice to carry my backpack)... we were virtually in the middle of nowhere :). When we arrived I saw a very basic house which was standing alone on a cliff above the Atlantic... wow :) one of the most magnificent places ever and the family was incredibly hospitable. It was hard for me to leave :).

Travel; reading (a good book in a good cafe :)); nature & outdoors; psychology; swimming, skiing, tennis, hiking; walking around town (be it Moscow or elsewhere); world cuisines (I basically love good food :)); movies; dancing; Russian banya; smoking waterpipe in atmospheric places; trains; rivers; deserts; having a drink over an interesting conversation...

Music: above all I am a fan of classical music (I prefer live concerts at Moscow concervatory or other venues around the world); besides that I love to visit jazz clubs, rock bars; classic guitar concerts; Russian bard singers and any traditional music events when I travel.

Books: My favourite Russian writers are Dostoevsky and Bulgakov.
Generally I read a lot of books on travel and novels. I am always looking for tips on interesting / good books, so, please, feel free to share :).
