About Me

Currently in: Lund, Sweden

Hi everyone!

I'm Ania, a positive and cheerful soul that loves traveling alone and meeting people by random encounters. My dream was to try living in different places and currently I'm fulfilling it by starting my Masters in a county no. 3. A design enthusiast, also keen on sports as past judo trainee and huge F1 fan.

I've just moved to Lund, hoping to meet someone who could introduce me to the new city. Also underdoing a flat hunt.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love meeting people. I always want to learn something new about other cultures and just make a lot of friends!!!

Music, Movies, and Books

I don't read books, I inhale them so I have to restrain myself from reading during school year, otherwise I would do nothing else. I love fantasy but from time to time I go for other things as well.

When it comes to the music I'm open to almost every genre, it really depends on my mood. But when I discover an artis I like I tend to listen to them until I'm sick of it, currently living on Troye Sivan post concert excitement.

I prefer series to movies, but a good movie is never a waste of time. Most recently catching up on Tokyo Vice with all the amazing pictures of Japan at night.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Volunteering in a language café in Korea- top 2 moments of my life (I've done it twice soooo top 2 go for both times I did it). I cried when I was leaving and I'm not someone who cries easily. I would recommend it to everyone. Seriously.

Teach, Learn, Share

Everything. I believe you can learn the most unexpected things that you'd never imagine you need.

I can teach you bake amazing stuff as I have quite a sweet tooth and I think I'm pretty good at it. Can teach you Polish although I don't think that's the most useful thing.

I love sharing fun stories and travel experiences. I believe learning about each others cultures is mesmerising and opens your mind like nothing else.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Conversations, I believe I'm a good listener and talker as well. I can chat about anything but if it's something I'm passioned about, I go to another level (ask all the people who thought F1 is boring and I turned them into fans).

I also love cooking so I'd love to cook something for you (or with you!) I'm always open to getting to know a new cuisine. I have also a good library of restaurants in different places that I could recommend to you for future travels- we all know food is the most important part of traveling ;)
