Overview
About Me
Hi.
I grew up in Cape Town, South Africa and after my studies I decided to head overseas and teach in South Korea. Currently I have no idea what's next for me but hey that's the beauty of it.
I'm a confident woman with a lot of passion and drive. I absolutely love meeting new people and more I love traveling and seeing new places. As much as I love seeing new places I also love just chilling on a couch with a cup of coffee and great conversation or a movie. I'm a little OCD which means I'm quite neat. I clean up after myself and I'm not shy in asking questions or admitting I've done something stupid. And I'm pretty much very independent.
I'm also up to try new things, flexible with somebody else's routines or plans and a "go with the flow" type of person.
And as much as I love shopping and wearing high heels and make up (somedays) I also really don't mind running around in the mud or getting physically dirty.
I love going out and having a few drinks and talk about things but I can do exactly the same over coffee. I'm not irresponsible. I read situations and as much as I love a beer I hate hangovers. I enjoy going out and not drinking, just dancing even more... having fun.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm constantly looking for excuses to travel and meet new people and if I can afford a plane ticket to a place with a little bit of money I will do it.
I joined Couchsurfing mainly to meet people and get a local experience which hostel traveling lacks most of the time.

I have a vast variety of interests.

Music, Movies, and Books
I don't really read.
Movies: I'm a sucker for a good romance or drame but action is also my forte. horror and thriller not so much...
Music: Currently into indie but I love linken park, blink 182, adele, talor swift as well ... so pretty much a big variety as well. oh and Simon and garfunkel and dire straits as well....
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I've done a few but if I need to point out on it would be:
Camping in the middle of a wildlife reserve in Botswana (Africa) with no fencing around the camp area, taking a shower out of a bucket whilst watching an elephant stomp a tree with it's trunk around the trunk of the tree 10 meters away.
Teach, Learn, Share
Listen more, speak less. Learn more and be humble.
If there is a will there is a way and nothing in life is impossible, only you make it impossible but thinking it's impossible.
If you would like to get to know me better and see more of me have a look at my blog: littlebutterfly23.blogspot.com.... It's a personal blog, not so much a travel blog.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I hope there would be something but I guess this will depend on who's hosting me.
Everybody has their unique experiences and insights. I can share my viewpoints and stories or just listen for hours on end to somebody else's amazing experiences.
I can share my knowledge of South Africa and the in's and out's of the country. As well as my experiences spending a year as an expat in Korea teaching. Also could be your personal guide to those who hosted me.
