My name is Ania, I study bioinformatics in Warsaw (Poland). I love mathematics and hedgehogs. I like to learn new things and meet new people; I enjoy sports, drawing and writing (I actually hope to write a book someday, who knows, maybe I'll succeed). I am a bit of an introvert, but that doesn't mean I don't enjoy company, it's just that sometimes I need to, hm, recharge.

Unfortunately, I can't host anyone, since I live currently in students dormitory and we're not allowed to have guests :( However, I would be more than happy to host someone as soon as I get my own flat (next year, hopefully...).

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I think it might be a great way to travel - you can live with a friendly person, who can possibly tell you something about the place you're visiting, there's a chance of meeting new interesting people, and, last but not least - well, it's important for a poor student... - it's cheaper than staying in a hostel, that's the cruel truth. I've always wanted to travel more, especially so that I could discover new cultures - I think that staying with someone from the culture I want to learn more about would be a great start, and I really hope couchsurfing will help me fulfill my dreams. I can't wait to be able to host someone myself.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm not sure what this question is about. I love to teach and share my experiences, so if there is anything that I know and you would want to know - I would be more than happy to share my knowledge :) Maybe you want to learn Polish, or find out something about modern technologies used in biology, or hear about fencing and sword-fighting? Or maybe learn some basics in programming, or you want to take up jogging but it's hard to find motivation when you're alone, so we could go for a run together? I'm at your service :)

What I Can Share with Hosts

I seriously doubt you would be happy with my cooking, but I will gladly help you with, well, basically anything that you could use my help with - chores, cooking, cleaning up, fixing your computer, painting walls, helping your children with homework, you name it. Just please, don't expect me to cook something on my own, especially something from "traditional Polish cuisine", I'm not even sure what that would be...
