ABOUT ME

Not what you call the quiet type ;). enjoy having a good laugh with a group of people or a quite one-to-one coffee.
I am very impatient.. especially true when I try to plan holidays. I want it here and now!
I try to be open minded and am always curious about the storied other people have to tell.
I tend to think of life this way:
You must know that in any moment a decision you make can change the course of your life forever: the very next person stand behind in line or sit next to on an airplane, the very next phone call you make or receive, the very next movie you see or book you read or page you turn could be the one single thing that causes the floodgates to open, and all of the things that you've been waiting for to fall into place.”
That’s what makes meeting people so exciting.
Travelling is what I would do for living if I could. Have strolled through many European capitals and it’s the big cities where you can get lost in the crowds that I seem to enjoy most. Wouldnt say no to a weekend countryside get away either…Its basically: you name it and I want to go there. India and Nepal are high on my list at the moment with no specific plans for it I am afraid.
Couch surfing is a an amazing way to meet people from all over the world

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I dont have a couch to host people and sadly have never stayed at anybodies couch (tend to stick to hostels on my travels) but its on my list of things to do.

I met some lovely people in Liverpool on the couch surfing meetings of cooking nights. I showed a few couchsurfes around the city

Interests

I love meeting people. it amazed me how different everybody is when you first see them and then the more we get to know each other the more we realize that we are all driven by the same feelings and emotions..
I feel alive when i can discover new places, understand cultures, engage with people in different ways.
Like a good book and some good music, dont we all?!
Biochemistry has been my focus with the emphesis on medicine (as in drugs, not the subject)
I am learning how to cook. far from good at it but getting there.
I wish i could take up spanish classes again in liverpool

Music, Movies, and Books

I like going to the movies. its a whole new experience comparing to just watching a film on a laptop. My three favorite movies are: 'before sunrise', 'before sunset' and 'before midnight'... I can go on and on about them... have seen the first two hundred of times and plan to do the same with the 3rd one once its out on dvd...
Mostly listen to alternative rock. After seeing florence and the machine live I recently became addicted to her.
try to read bits of everything but not into fantasy or sci-fi, prefer contemporary and not set in an imaginary world.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Seeing nothern lights in -25C in Lapland, Finland was definately a dream come true.
Also strolling through busy streets of New York, feeling like a small dot in this amazing multicultural, bustling city
and all those memorable, random nights when you just think "Life is wonderful" in between! we've all had them! :)
