ABOUT ME

Travelling vet, who loves birds and cats (what's a contradiction!). Apart from that I love dancing tango, rock music, hiking in mountains, photography, good literature, good movies and people withgood sence of humoure... So there is quite a lot of love in my life, if we asume, that there is a lot of good things in the world.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

My friend told me that this is a great way to meet new people and travel.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Only very good. I was hosted in Oslo, Moskow and Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur, Perth, Sydney, Auckland and Christchurch... I usualy use CS only in big cities because I prefere wild places and sleeping in tent while travelling. I was a host only once (I really enjoyed it, but my house mate didn't :/)

Movies- "Dead Poets Society"; "Closer"; "Fight Club"; "Macrocosmos", "Into the wild"
Music- depends on mood from Dead Can Dance, Jelonek and Archive or Placebo through Fiona Apple and P.J.Harvey to Tool, Opeth, Obscure Sphinx. And there is still place for Chopin, Grieg and birds voices
Books- my little kingdom- Tolkien, Dostojewski, Nabokov,Antoine de Saint Exupéry, Hesse, Andersen, Jerofiejew, Nietzsche, Grass, Wolter, Joyce, Sapkowski, Kapuściński... myths, legends, fairy tales

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I observed hundreds of black terns and small gulls wafting above stormy sea; galloped through the forest during blizzard; heard wolves houling in Białowieża National Park , saw royal albatroses gliding above Otago Penninsula, hitchhike Nullarbor road in Australia...

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you basic steps of tango.
Bake traditional New Zeland cookies (so simple that even I can do it)
Shere some moving music with you, talk about books, movies or stupid, funny things.
