ABOUT ME
25 years old, born and grew up in St Petersburg in a hippie family of a painter. Haho is my real surname.
I do graphic design for music events and companies.
I love discussions, travel stories, absurd and strange sense of humour, long drinks, different nations, avant-garde culture, nonfiction and novels, travel journalism and sci-fi, unexpected parties, unexpected trips, music festivals, music concerts, music and musicians, exploring music blogs; foreign languages, modern art movements
For the last 3 years I've been music-travelling, which means that my trips are often connected with a music event, a festival or concerts. I'm always up for a live show, the more underground it is, the better.
My music taste though can be seem pretty weird and my friends say that I'm obsessed with it. But I have tons of other interests, music just being one of the biggest.
Coffee or drink - no problem, showing you around or hosting you - no problem.
If you don't know what's the best time to come to SPb - come in June (white nights and stuff). If you can't visit SPb in June - visit when you want. But November is a really bad idea.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
so far mostly unexpected and quite a drunk one
Interessen
i'm very urban, can't imagine my life without a big city in it, can't imagine my life without music as well.
I learn languages when I'm bored. When I get tired of learning a language, I go out for a drink. Icelandic language is very interesting. Modern experimental electronic free-jazz music is very interesting. Lots of things are very interesting
I also volunteer at music festivals as a band runner. Took good care of Michael Rother, Ben Frost and Kuedo, hung out with Kreidler, Byetone, Andy Stott, Winny Puhh and other cool guys (if these names tell you anything)

Musik, Filme und Bücher
Music means a lot. I listen to different kinds of music, mostly experimental and ambient electronics, drone and noise, but sometimes a good old rock song can save my life.
But my favourites are: Tim Hecker, Ben Frost, The Haxan Cloak, Grouper, Väljasõit rohelisse, Jacaszek, Biosphere, Jan Jelinek, Fennesz, Clipping, Jon Hopkins, Trust, Opal Tapes, Northern Electronics, Posh Isolation and a lot lot more.
'Leningrad cowboys go America' and other movies by Kaurismäki, Jarmusch, Fatih Akin, Lynch, Kusturica, Ritchie and some art-house.
Books by Tibor Fischer ('The Thought gang' is the best thing i've ever read), Tom Wolfe, Richard Ford, Donna Tartt, Lem, Vonnegut, Dovlatov, Franzen, Stoppard, Erofeev, Harms, Carroll
