Overview
About Me
I am a calm, amiable person that appreciate both cozy evenings with a book and a cup of tea and crazy nights at parties. I am open-minded and tolerant towards new cultures, lifestyles and opinions. Even though I can appear reserved and shy at first, I like people, conversations and I think there's no better way to spend your life than meeting new, interesting personalities.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love learning new things and visiting new, beautiful places. I don't consider couchsurfing free accomodation, I'd rather think about it as an opportunity to try something different. I believe there's a huge part in every country that one can't discover without an interaction with natives.
Interests
Foreign languages are my greatest passion. I learn English, German and Norwegian, and I would like to learn some more (f.e. Spanish or Icelandic).
My second passion is medieval history. I could read (and talk ;) about it all the time.
- music
- fencing
- history
- languages
- sightseeing
Music, Movies, and Books
Too many to write down. I'll be more than happy to talk about it, though.
I listen to indie, indie-rock and indie-folk, mostly.
I watch everything that sounds even slightly interesting, but I love Wes Anderson and British cinema productions.
I am a bookworm. I read fantasy, thrillers, romance..., mostly in original languages.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Left my family and homecountry and come to Norway to study here. Not a great accomplishment, but it was a really difficult decision for me personally.
Teach, Learn, Share
I could teach you some fencing (historical fencing), but I don't usually take my fencing equipment with me.
I am ready to learn almost everything you can offer as I am not afraid of new activities. I always bring some Polish sweets with me, and if you like to try something specific, I am sure I could organize that.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Good atmosphere, passion and energy.
