I'm here to meet new people. I enjoy traveling much more when locals share how they feel about the place they live in. Conversations that start randomly and lead to new friendships can make my day any day.

Music, Movies, and Books

Any music is good as long as it's not too loud. My first trip to Europe was planned around a Muse concert. I also like Daft Punk, WhoMadeWdo, Peggy Lee, all of the 2000s pop music, and, well, you name it.

Lately, I've been watching more TV shows than movies. I like Amazon's The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel and Good Omens more than any other show.
I go to movie screenings at least once a week. Interstate 60 is my favorite. From the newer ones, I've enjoyed A Rainy Day in New York and Ford v Ferrari the most. I'm also trying to catch up on old and iconic movies I haven't watched yet. The last ones were Les parapluis de Strasbourg and Gaslight.

I think Wilde's Ballad of the Reading Gaol is one of the best things ever written. And I think copywriter George Tannenbaum is as good a writer as most of the world classics.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

About 20 minutes of consecutive interpretation from a language I don't speak but managed to understand every bit of it due to professional terms and reading the tone of the speaker.
