About Me
Hello! I am a cheerful and adventurous person, who likes to explore. I am concerned about global issues such as human rights and enviroment. I love to help people whenever I can. I volunteer in an awesome organization called AFS and I love it. It offers me an opportunity to travel often, meet people similar to me, and its a really important part of my life.
Apart from travelling and volunteering, I also love sports (I train kick-boxing, but generally love to experiment with new sports), languages, challenges, different cultures, exotic food (especialy Asian!), languages once again, enjoying nature, and so on.
I was en exchange student in Denmark a few years ago and its something that had litterally changed my life. Since I came back, I have been unable to settle down - I have this constant urge of travelling and taking new challenges. :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I think this is a great site, because it offers you a possibility to travel more, since you do not have to pay for hostels, plus you meet some open and cool people. I would also like to host and meet interesting people from different backgrounds.
I have not hosted anyone through couchsurfing yet, but I have a huge experience with hosting inside the AFS organization. Every time somebody needs to sleep in Belgrade, they come to our house. We are an open family whose members travel a lot themselves, but also like to host. We find hosting very interesting and have so far hosted both Serbian people, and Danes, Swiss, a Norwegian girl, a Russian girl (for a whole year - it was Marina, an exchange student in Serbia and she lived in my home :))), Belgians, Germans, Englishmen, a friend from Quebec, a Thai boy, my Czech friend, Italian/Slovenian friend, Italians, French people, and maybe I forgot someone...:P Oh yes, and this summer Belorussians are coming! Yey! :D Judging by our history, I expect that I/we will think that couchsurfing is great as well.
This summer my plan is to go to Norway, and I hope I will find a couch there, as well as meet some awesome local people. :) I study Scandinavian studies, and am very interested in the culture (and languages!) of all Scandinavian countries, so I also hope I will find someone who likes to talk about their country, compare, discuss stuff... I speak both Danish and Swedish, so I dont expect communication in Norway to be an obstacle. :D
THIS SUMMER I AM NOT AT HOME FROM JULY 19TH TO AUGUST 16TH AND CANNOT HOST AT THIS PERIOD.

Music, Movies, and Books
A tough one. I actually like rock music a lot, and especially old Yugoslav rock. Thats the best, I think.
Books - I read Sons and lovers (D. H. Lawrence) a few weeks ago, and I loved it. Some other books I love would be some full of fantasy, like The Hobbit and The lord of the rings.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I was an exchange student for a year when I was 18. :) I think it´s pretty amazing, at least it was and is for me.
Teach, Learn, Share
I would like to share opinions. Learn a new word in some language. Teach many words in many languages. Share an interesting moment. Learn about the human kind in general. :)
What I Can Share with Hosts
Some homemade rakija, maybe? :D
A piece of serbian culture, definitely... Im interested in culture-talk, presenting my culture, comparing, discussing, and so on.
