About Me
Hello, my name is Anica or Ani how my friends call me. I came to Leipzig in 2012 for my studies and I'm still here! I really love this city.. it's a young city full of students and there are always new places to discover and interesting events to go.
About me: I think I'm a openminded person who just loves and enjoys the life! And who wants to spread humanity and love in this world! I've nearly always a smile on my lips and I love to laugh :)
Special about me? Okay, when you're getting to know me better you will probably very quick realize that I'm a big fan of France and its culture, so I really would enjoy to have French guests someday! J'adore le francais!! :) But of course I would be happy to host people from all over the world, it's always so cool to get to know other people with their own experiences..
My favourite vehicle to move along is definitely my BIKE! I go nearly every distance by bike - no matter if it's snowing or if the way is only 10 min by foot... you could call it obsessed by fast and reliable transportation.. haha! :D and Leipzig is fortunately made for this ;)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I first came in contact with couchsurfing through a friend of mine who suggested to stay some nights in Montpellier before continuing our trip more into the south to join some friends there. In the beginning I was a bit sceptical because it was my first time doing couchsurfing and I wasn't sure what I was going to expect..but in the end it was such a great experience! Our host was very hospitable and friendly. He told us what we have to see, one evening we cooked together and we went out with him and his friend as well. It was so simple, but felt just so good to be welcomed by somebody who lives there!
I'm so happy to see that interexchange between people can be so easy and enriching! And so I signed up with couchsurfing.com right after coming home from the voyage. I love the concept! Such a good way to meet new people, to see how they live and to share good moments with them!
