Hi there!!

My name is Aniek and I I am an optimistic, happy, energetic person who likes to enjoy every moment to the fullest! It's hard for me to sit still, I love adventures! I have grown up moving around a lot and I still do! Traveling is my biggest passion. I believe that people make the places you visit rememberable though, which is why I love to meet locals and stay with them! Couchsurfing is such a great opportunity for this.

At this moment I am an intern at the Dutch embassy in Wellington. I live here with my boyfriend, who is also working in Wellington. As soon as I am finished my boyfriend and I will start travelling around New-Zealand, Australia and Sri Lanka! We are super excited to start discovering these countries and meeting people that live there. Hopefully we get to meet you too!

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I think people make the places you travel! I travelled for a year after highschool and stayed with more than 40 hostfamilies all around, this has given me the best memories! Also, I couchsurfed in the USA and in Canada, which definitely also enriched my experience in these beautiful countries! :)

I have been hosting a few times myself in the Netherlands, which is also a great experience. So when I am welcome at your house you will definitely also be welcome at mine!

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I have been surfing on the coast of Tofino and Hawai, both were amazing! I also performed with 'Up with People' in front of a huge temple in Taiwan, this was an awesome experience!
