About Me
More like 'about us' because there are two of us on this profile. We are a couple who are looking forward to meeting the interesting sorts of people who willingly welcome strangers to sleep on their couch. One is German the other is American, one can make a killer veggie lasagna the other can sure fry an egg. One tells slightly inappropriate jokes like: Did you hear about the squirrel with a food fetish? and the other tells kid friendly jokes like: What's brown and sticky?

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
well...you know...to meet new people...I guess.
But for realsies...Anika and I want to meet and really connect with the people in the areas we are travelling and that is harder to do if one stays exclusively in hostels populated by other travelers.
Don't get us wrong, we love meeting other travelers, but we've been traveling for months and I swear we've gotten to know more backpackers than locals on this trip and we'd like to change that.
Interests
Sometimes half of us likes to tell jokes on stage. The other half likes to watch. or at least she says she does. Actually if you know any cool comedy open mics happening where you are and want to see some be sure to let us know!
One likes lying. But you won't know which because they'll tell you they don't but that's just another dirty fib.

Music, Movies, and Books
We disagree on that one but every movie is good with popcorn. (sweet)((salty))
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
One of us went Skydiving. The other once saw the ass of a wild koala.
Teach, Learn, Share
One can teach stupid human tricks and is always willing to learn more tricks. The other can share her recipes for vegetarian dishes.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Toilet paper (2-ply) and food. and semi-decent conversation, stories of our other travels, (be sure to ask Anika about her Cambodian Onion story), and awkward silences.
