Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Enjoying the limitless opportunities life offers every day.
ABOUT ME
Curious, communicative, spontaneous, sometimes impatient, loyal, slightly dorky penguin-lover :). I spend my days dancing, listening to or talking about music, practising yoga, learning and thinking about languages, trying to climb stuff, playing videogames, watching movies or dogs, eating well, meeting friends or just daydreaming. Passionate about traveling...but is that actually necessary to mention in a community like this?
PHILOSOPHY
Set your priorities wisely. I don't want to waste my time poring over trifles, but be sure about what I want and make my dreams come true.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Surfing spontaneously whenever and wherever it is possible. Willing to host and definitely up for a coffee and/or a Hanover city tour from time to time
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
First surfing-experience in 2010 in Rome. My best friend and me registered on Couchsurfing at 9 in the morning without having any plan where to go or where to stay. At noon we had received 6 replies, chose one of them and had the most amazing 3 days with lots of great restaurants, secret places and a private 12-hour-tour through the city. The perfect beginning of a new hobby.
***PLEASE NOTE: Unfortunately, requests which read like simple copy-paste messages without any personal component reach me very often at the moment. To be sure that you invested some time to look at my profile and not just randomly sent requests to people I'd like you to refer to something personal in my profile that makes you think you should stay with me. You could also tell me your favourite joke or song. I love expanding my collection :).***

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Hiking up a mountain in Montenegro in the middle of the night, spending some hours sitting there on the walls of a castle ruin waiting for the sun to rise. Amazing view!
Living in a breathtaking cave at the Southafrican coast for a week, doing cross-country hikes in the woods, swimming in waterfalls and catching/collecting our own dinner to cook it over a fireplace.
Learning how to play fire-poi on a secluded island in Cambodia, travelling with my teacher for 3 weeks and playing our first small show in front of the mystical Angkor Wat after dark.
Teach, Learn, Share
Everyone is different, so we constantly learn from each other by simply interacting. Most of the time we aren't even aware of it till we use these new gifts in future situations. This is something that makes CS so special; nothing else would connect you so easily with people you've never spoken to before.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Hard to break it down to something specific as every encounter is different. Let's find out together :)
