About Me
Hola, I am Anika : 22, studying medicine in Copenhagen, 60% Danish, 38% German.
So, you're wondering who I am?
Well, my friends would probably describe me as a happy and very open minded person with a healthy touch of craziness and spontaneity.
But instead of putting some adjectives of myself in here, I would rather like to introduce you to three things I love; that, I believe, will give you a way better slight insight of who I am.
The first, and most obvious thing, that comes into my mind, is : to travel.
My life changed when I started exploring the world in '14.
Teaching at a school in Bali, working & living in Sydney, hitch-hiking Southern Europe. To be continued : swimming with sharks in Panama, volunteering on a local farm in Nicaragua.
I will not amplify this one further; I guess you do have the same passion.
Secondly : Whales. Especially Humpback Whales. Because they weigh 50 tons and still make it look so easy to float through the ocean. Also, whales have BFF's. And some sleep standing up.
I'll have to think about the third one. I'd probably be something like photography, Border Collies or knækbrød.
I am now studying medicine at Copenhagen University, which I am very happy with. Although Denmark is such a great place to live in and I'm sure that I couldn't wish for anything better right now, I am - and will always be - a vagabond.
