I'm a traveler, entrepreneur, Haiku-poet, blogger, and nature lover. I like to travel solo and explore new places; getting off the trails.

I dropped out of engineering to travel full-time. I used to be a cross-country biker and have done a few long and adventure bike rides in India including the infamous Ladakh Bike ride of India from Manali to Leh. South India ride (Goa, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana) and North East (Sikkim, Nagaland, Assam). I met with a motorcycle accident in 2017 that caused many severe injuries and I underwent multiple surgeries. Now I'm doing much better although my physical rehabilitation for the injuries is still in progress.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

As I like to explore new places, the best way to do it is to connect with the locals and exchange life stories. Who doesn't want to make new friends across the globe?!
Even though I don't have a couch to offer of my own (occasionally possible if I'm not traveling), I like to share one in new places with the hosts and meet other surfers from around the world.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I carried my 120 kg bike through knee deep snow and slush over 10-15 feet on a steep slope on my bike ride to North Sikkim, India. That was thrilling!

Backpacked to Varanasi and then to Pokhara and Lumbini in Nepal 15 months after I met with with an accident that left me partially paralyzed in the right arm.

Enjoyed celebrating Holi (Indian festival of colors), drinking bhaang lassi and beer for almost 8 hours in Pokhara with 15 friends from all across the world that I made at the hostel.

I'm crazy about languages. I can understand around 10 Indian languages. As for foreign languages, I wish to learn French, German, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, Russian and Greek.
