I grew up as a missionary kid in the South Pacific Islands and haven't really stopped traveling since. I am fascinated by languages and culture - i did a degree in linguistics and french - and i can spend hours amusing myself with a few friends and a dictionary.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've never had the chance to participate myself, but my sister has been a couchsurfer and host for years and she loves it.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies - i get scared easily, so if its traumatic it had better be for a good cause (e.g. Defiance - sad but true)
Music - alternative, folky, funky
Books - i devour books. I like happy stories, fantasy, adventure, French books (if they're easy! i'm pretty much limited to TinTin comics and Harry Potter et la Chambre des Secrets)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

so many! Sitting on the roof of our truck in the middle of the Serangeti, eating awful Kenyan chocolate and watching the world's largest wildebeest migration go past..

I spent a full year studying ceramics, so if it's about pottery i'm your girl.
