CURRENT MISSION
I wanna conquer the world ;)
ABOUT ME
Hey, I'm Anikó, 24 years old Finance student. I spent the fall semester of 2011 in Cologne (Germany) as an Erasmus student, and as Bryan Adams said: "those were the best days of my life"! :) These 6 months made me more open-minded, because I met so many people from the 5 continents, I learned lots of things from them and I also tried to teach them some Hungarian stuffs... I think this attempt was very successful, they surely won't forget what the Pálinka is... :)
So my exchange period definitely changed my life. I realized that making friendships over the borders is one of the greatest activities ever, therefore since I've come back to Budapest, getting know new people form other cultures became one of the aims of my life.
BTW I’m a kind of girl who is full of energy and can never be chilled down. I’m always ready to have some fun, I’m mad about adventure and joyful, endless nights. ;) You won't regret our personal meeting for sure, because I promise, I try to do my best to color your time! ;)
PHILOSOPHY
"Be yourself, be your own feelings. Be wild, be free, be young for ever. Be fresh & beautiful. Be sweet and sensual. Be your dreams. Just B.U."
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
The idea came from one of my friends. This spring my application has been accepted for a Summer University in Cosenza (Calabria, Italy), so me and 2 other Hungarian girls decided to make a short trip to Rome and Napoli before the event. As I already know, the best way to get familiar with a country and its culture, if you have a local guide. Due to this reason it was obvious that we would like to try out CS, and hopefully we'll have the chance to meet interesting people who are ready to show us the best places of their city! :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
One amazing thing I've seen: two years ago, when I spent my summer holiday in Crete, I visited Santorini (often called Thíra) for a day as well. It is impossible to describe what I've seen, but I was impressed by the beauty of the island! It is a real pearl in the middle of Aegean Sea: blue and clear water, white houses with blue cupolas, colorful flowers everywhere, amazing "silver" sunset, nice people... What else should I say? You must see it with your own eyes! :)
One amazing thing I've done: I applied for Erasmus scholarship! I made so many international friendships and got unforgattable memories, which influenced my life significantly in positive sense! Last but not least this semester helped me to develop my personality and broaden my horizon as well!
Teach, Learn, Share
Teach: some Hungarian words, because visiting Hungary is much easier if you know some basic expressions at least! Furthermore, I also can teach you how to make a traditional Hungarian food or several (not just Hungarian) cocktails as well! :)
Learn: I'm open-minded, so you can teach me everything what you're good at, from cooking and speaking your language to dance / arts / building bridges :) etc.
Share: openness for the world, my opinion about big questions of life, my experiences about cultures, people or places, and I also can show you how I used to live my life! :)
