About Me

Because I can and bigger and better are my life mottos. This kind of prevails throughout my life - I am always trying new experiences, trying to push my comfort zone, and I think this is a way to make myself a better person. I am also passionate about helping out - this has led me to work for an environmental testing company to a medical diagnostic company. It has pushed me bike more and drive less, host other like-minded individuals, and think more of my impact on others and our mother earth.

Update on life: I have hosted for about a year and now have quit my job to travel and to see the states before traveling internationally. I converted a car to sleep in so space shouldn’t be an issue. I just left and I think my goal is to bring something from my previous hosts town to my current hosts town. So far I have only hosted so I am looking forward to meeting all you rad people with similar spirits as me.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

When I first started my answer was this: Because I can’t travel enough. I think now, although that is still important, it is to learn from others and to show off Sacramento. Traveling isn't a checkbox, I want people to have a great time in my town because I proud of my town and what it has done for me/what I gave it. I also enjoy traveling - and hope that I can use couchsurfing to find other friends I haven't met yet in far off (and nearby!) lands.
