Overview
About Me
I turn a year older on the 16th of June every year.
Born in a tiny town in the Eastern India Himalayas (Gangtok, Sikkim), I have been thrown around different places within these 22 years. So I would like to believe I grew up in a lot of spaces = )
Currently I am wrapping up with my bachelors degree. I am with compassion fostering a few plants in my humble abode. I have been experimenting with cooking my dinner. very simple experiments (nothing really to brag about there) haha.
I love listening to new stories and sharing my own with everyone out there. Lets hope to cross paths.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I first came across couchsurfing when I was travelling across Europe. I had no idea what it was. I was very confused about how to 'behave' with hosts and other travellers (you know if suppose there were understood norms). But gradually with experience I understood it is what you make of it and truly just all about being yourself. CS has become a convenient medium for those who aim to make the world a smaller place by meeting new people. That is pretty much happiness for me =)
Interests
Discovering interests for me is going to be a life-long process. It is truly defined by the space I am in and what it provides me with. IF I happen to be at the coast, I really like spending evenings at the beach swimming, stretching, doing some yoga, and playing capoeira.
Should I be at a forest, I like long walks, cycling, tea, tree climbing and bonfires! In cities, I love long walks again and going to bars to socialize and expand my circles :P haha and seeing new faces here and there.
However in general, wherever I am I love capturing all of these unique things I see and adding flavours of my own into it.. (avid instagrammer: thesikkimese). And of course having a good set of playlist to go with the mood that I am able to feel in spaces.

Music, Movies, and Books
Currently Reading:
Lolita- Vladimir Nabokov
It takes me quite a while to finish reading books. I do not think I purely depend on book to satisfy the curious cat in me. I also look up to music, magazines, blogs, TV shows, films and art. Quite balanced in that sense.
Music:
My taste in music touches so many genres that has been so far identified. RnB, Indie post-rock, Jazz and blues, electronic, folk, Nepali. Music of different languages.
I often am inclined to rhythm more than words when it comes to music. Which is why I am truly fascinated by pure instrumental or modern electronic.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Skinny dipping and sunbathing at the Danube (Vienna)
Teach, Learn, Share
I could share a thing or two about what I have discovered while cooking, gardening etc. Everything I know is free to be shared :)
What I Can Share with Hosts
My couch, food, my friends, my space, unlimited ginger tea or cinnamon coffee.
