I was born in a village near Calcutta, India. I am a researcher (postdoc) in the field of Astrophysics and Cosmology. Before I was in Trieste, Italy for my PhD.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I like to travel around the world but not like a tourist. I'd love to feel the soul of that place wherever I visit.
Couchsurfing brings and amazing opportunity to interact with local people and I like this idea.

Favorite Movies: I usually do not watch Hollywood movies. But my favorite movies are Before Sunrise (and other two series), Inception, The Shawshank Redemption, Forest Gump ..

But I enjoy watching world movies such as Baran (Persian), Roshomon (Japanese), La vita e Bella (Italian) etc.
